This will confirm that I really don't do much or have any idea what goes go in my house after I go to sleep. I can hear the train blowing its horn at the crossings at Droubay, and Bates Canyon Rd, and I can hear RWB's semi trucks pulling onto the Hwy with another load of water or salt but when it comes to my kids I am deaf, Amy calls it selective hearing. So there are some mornings I wake up and there is evidence that something went wrong because Amy is not in bed, and usually she has been replaced with Tailor or Kennedie. From this point on it becomes a CSI Erda to see where people are laying and to backwards engineer the events of the night before. I just love to see everyone asleep and see how peaceful it all seems but knowing full well that a few hours earlier Amy was fighting to get them to go to bed and sometimes just letting them fend for themselves. She is just so AWESOME and I don't know how she does it.
I believe you and Ben must have the same hearing disabilities. Maybe there was something unseen in the gravel @ Adobe or maybe you are blessed to be men?
I can't type and I have other things I should do with my time but I have finally given in to the trend. I'm just a simple man, I drive a common van, and my dog ain't got no pedigree. I have a GREAT family and GREAT friends and a GREAT job and thus a GREAT life. While the best things are the most sacred and personal I thought I would try and share some of my life with whoever finds it interesting.
